Romania's largest new media art festival

RADAR is a new media art festival launched in 2019, dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge digital art installations in both heritage landmarks and alternative venues across the city.

Each year, the festival brings together a curated selection of digital artworks — including VR, AR, video mapping, AI, interactive and light-based installations — offering a dynamic snapshot of the global new media art scene. With a lineup of both local and internationally acclaimed artists featured in major festivals worldwide, RADAR transforms unique urban spaces into vibrant hubs of digital creativity.

RADAR also includes RADAR KIDS, a dedicated section for children and families. This playful digital space features interactive and educational installations designed to spark curiosity and creativity, encouraging exploration through technology and art in a fun and accessible way.

This year, RADAR reached its 7th edition under the theme Full Spectrum and tool place between September 24-27 at ARCUB - Hanul Gabroveni. 11500+ people joined Romania's largest new media art festival during an extraordinary weekend of immersive art, light installations, and boundary-pushing experiences.
